Gert Receives Grant to expand Gullah Collection
Gullah Princess at the Dragonfly, Tybee Through the generosity of the Coastal Community Foundation, I will expand my portrait skills to expand scholarly illustrations of the Gullah culture. Included are funds to pay for studio space, membership into the Portrait Society of America, and attendance at the annual Portrait Society Convention, where I will be able to receive tutelage from the top portrait artists of our day.
